Services for Exporters Export Counseling - One of Global Markets Division trade advisors will visit your company to consult with you about your export goals and objectives. Your trade advisor will answer your questions, provide you with research regarding your target markets and work with you to assess the viability of your product or service in those markets. There is no fee for this service. Agent and Distributor Search - The key to success in international markets can be finding the right agent or distributor. Working through Ohio's network of 14 international offices, or with our many international contacts, your trade advisor will coordinate searches for prospective agents and distributors who can effectively sell your products, initiating relationships that will pay dividends for your company long into the future. There is no fee for this service. Business Missions - Global Markets Division organizes business missions, often led by the Governor of Ohio, to initiate and nurture relationships with potential international business partners. Participating in a business mission can provide your company with an opportunity to meet high-level business and government executives face-to-face, greatly enhancing your potential for future business opportunities. Catalog Shows - Catalog shows provide a low-cost way for Ohio companies to gain exposure and develop leads in a new market. Global Markets Division staff will represent your organization to interested buyers or representatives, distributing your literature and providing you with leads upon their return. Trade Shows - The right trade show can provide you with invaluable first-hand market research, facilitate your entry into a new market or help you increase your sales in an existing market. Global Markets Division trade advisors and international offices will work with you to identify the right trade show for your products or services. In some cases, we will organize an Ohio pavilion to secure prime space at a reduced price. To make your trip more worthwhile, Ohio's international offices can also arrange pre-qualified meetings with interested buyers and assist with translators and in-country transportation.
