Services for Business and Industry

The Ohio Energy Office's Business and Industry team manages a portfolio of technical and financial resources, and works with partners to improve the competitiveness of Ohio manufacturers and to foster emerging energy technologies.

Businesses that spend less than $150,000 on energy yearly now have a tool to help them reduce energy waste and hold down costs.  The Ohio Small Business Energy Saver is free and easy to use!

On June 16, 2008, a group of economic development professionals from across Ohio converged on the campus of the Ohio Deparment of Agriculture in Reynoldsburg.  Their focus was Retooling for Ohio's Advanced Energy Markets .  This event was designed to inform them about Ohio's opportunities in advanced energy and to equip them to help interested companies to engage in supplying these industries.  Speakers included Governor Ted Strickland, Lieutenant Governor and Department of Development Director Lee Fisher, Energy Advisor to the Governor Mark Shanahan and many more.  Click here to view presentations from the event.
