Small Business Ombudsman

The Small Business Ombudsman serves as a guide and advocate for small business owners as they interact with state government agencies. The Ombudsman will review and refer inquiries to the agencies only after the small business owner has worked to resolve the issues through the normal course of business with the agency.

The Small Business Ombudsman acts as a liaison between you and state agencies. Comments received from small businesses are forwarded to the appropriate agencies for a high level review.

It's always best to try to work with the agency first. But, if you cannot reach an agreement, please let the Small Business Ombudsman know by submitting the form below.

This is a free service. Inquiries will be kept confidential at your request.

The Small Business Ombudsman will investigate and work with you and the agency to find a fair solution in a non-adversarial manner.

Remember, it is important to try to resolve your problem directly with the agency before contacting the Small Business Ombudsman.
